North Shore Swimfest – 11-12 May

Meet Report

The National Aquatic Centre at Millennium was bulging at the seams with over 800 swimmers taking part in the North Shore Swimfest.

Our team swam particularly well achieving 33 PB’s from 46 entries.

Some notable achievements were Jack Kelly’s 34.34 second PB in the 200 back which took him to 2nd place in age, Alyssa Wangford with 4 firsts in age from 4 starts, which earned her a Bronze medal in the overall results for 10-year olds and little brother Kento taking a 1^st and 2^nd in age with his 2 starts.

The following swimmers: Jack Kelly, Linda Liang, Maxximo Ly, Liam Marks, Sia Okach, Alyssa and Kento Wangford, are to be congratulated for their achievement of a 100% PB record.

Despite the crowd it was an exciting meet, especially the skins events, along with some very close finishes in many of the other events.
